A major food production facility and distributor in Victoria are looking for a Seafood Packer to join their friendly crew! 

 SEAFOOD PACKER Opportunity: Full time, temporary to permanent position Location: Saanichton, BC - transit accessible Hours: 2.00pm - 10.30pm, Monday - Friday Pay rate: $15-16/hour Start: ASAP 



 Responsibilities: • Assembling and packing fresh fish from the seafood butcher shop • Using the label machines, scales, and strapping machine • Packing boxes with fresh fish, shellfish, fillets, and whole fish • Preparing goods for shipping.

Qualifications required: • Food processing experience, or retail or wholesale fish experience • Food safety knowledge • Experience hand packing and processing products • Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision and stay productive and results-oriented throughout the shift.

Once permanent you can expect pay raises at 3 months, 6 months, benefits start at 9 months and then another raise at 12 months.
