Maulana Azad National Urdu University  is a Central University located in the city of Hyderabad in the Indian state of Telangana. It was named after Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India's first Minister of Education, a freedom fighter in India's struggle for independence, and a scholar of Islam and Urdu literature. 

The university was established by an Act of the Parliament in January 1998, with an All India jurisdiction. The university has been awarded "A" Grade by National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC). 

The university has an Urdu learning and research institution, the Centre for Urdu Language, Literature & Culture at its Hyderabad campus.MANUU has started polytechnic colleges in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Darbhanga. MANUU's ITIs are working at Hyderabad, Bangalore and Darbhanga. It has established model schools in Hyderabad and Darbhanga.


In addition to the above-mentioned institutions, the university has four Colleges of Teacher Education in Hyderabad, Bhopal, Darbhanga and Srinagar. N.T.S. (Mysore) has recently established its field unit at the MANUU campus in the Gachibowli section of Hyderabad.( Information courtesy wikipedia)

Madras Institute of Development Studies Recruitment: JUNIOR ASSISTANT,LIBRARY ASSISTANT and DRIVER

The Madras Institute of Development Studies  Invites applications for the following posts.

 JUNIOR ASSISTANT (2 posts)

A Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with at least second class and with PG Diploma in the use of office software.  Ability to write letters in English and communicate orally in English.  Proficient in typing.

 

Experience: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, email communication and internet with proficiency in typing. 

Desirable: Work experience in office administration, should independently draft notes, letters, circulars, etc.  Knowledge of Accounting system and using Tally software, good communication skills, and stenography qualification.

 

Age  25 - 35 years.

 

Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 + GP of Rs.2400

LIBRARY ASSISTANT ( 1 post)

A Bachelor's degree in Library Science / Information Science

 

Experience:  With four years of experience in a reputed national level Research Institute / University / College Library with the working knowledge of Library Classification and Cataloguing Knowledge of integrated Library house-keeping software will be an added advantage.

 

Age  25 - 35 years.

 

Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 + GP of Rs.2400

 

DRIVER(1 post )

Essential Qualification: At least a pass in the third form or VIII Standard.  Should possess current driving license of a motor vehicle issued by the competent authority with knowledge of attending to minor defects / repairs.  Should be able to read Tamil and English and communicate orally in Tamil and English.

 

Experience: Should have a minimum of five years' experience in driving and maintaining a motor car.

 

Age  25 - 35 years.

 

Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 + GP of Rs.2400
